KUDOS FOR THE BARATHEON SAGA

I have published excerpts from my Baratheon Saga in the FutureLearn course for Start Writing Fiction and received the following acclaim:

What were the strengths and weaknesses of the character portrayals?
The characters were pretty well described using a mixture of the methods learnt throughout the course. Physical characteristics as well as backstory and psychological attributes.

Gareth G., on Rainer Baratheon and Laurent Tyrell.

Which method of character creation was being used?
Biographical.
Were you able to see the character clearly? Did you want to know more about the character?
Yes, and yes, I do want to know more about both characters.
What approaches to portrayal, such as depicting appearance, occupation, voice, and so forth, did the writer successfully use?
The writer gave a full and colorful view of the characters - one wonders whether the union will last or - at least - how it might develop or change.
Pamela G., on Stanislaus Baratheon and Elise Florent

Which method of character creation was being used?
The character is finely sketched, some details seem partially autobiographical because of the knowledge and skillful observation but generally speaking the method seems a mix of autobiographical and invented
Were you able to see the character clearly? Did you want to know more about the character?
I could see the character clearly from a psychological point of view, his look. Physical appearance could have been more extended even if a can imagine Stanislaus.
What approaches to portrayal, such as depicting appearance, occupation, voice, and so forth, did the writer successfully use?
The character is portrayed in his habits, in his simple healthy life. The description of a clergy man seems masterly done. The writer seems to know the environment very well and her observation is precise. She depicts a real person with original insights. The names used convey a northern atmosphere in past times and that's charming.
Claudio Colabianchi, on Stanislaus Baratheon and Elise Florent.
