EN QUE ELENA ENTRELAZA LAS MANOS CON...

Star*Twinkle Pretty Cure - Episode 7
My Own Review
EN QUE ELENA ENTRELAZA LAS MANOS CON...

As for episode seven of Star ☆ Twinkle, the girls all work together to fix up Lala’s mode of transportation.

This is my review of Star Twinkle Ep 7 as the girls tried to fix Lala's spaceship!

The AI assigns tasks for each girl

With Hikaru, Lala, Elena, and Madoka all ready to repair Lala’s starship together, the AI analyses the four girls and assigns them tasks based on their personalities. Lala simply has to follow the AI’s directions, Elena will be in charge of materials transportation and physical work, Madoka will manage the repair work according to the plans (already cast in a leadership role, as the commanding officer of sorts), and Hikaru… well, Hikaru is beyond analysis, so she gets stuck with cleaning duty.

Lala's on-board AI scans the Cures for their possibilities

The girls decided to get Lala's spaceship fixed and the AI scanned the girls to see what they are suitable for. Lala is good at fixing, Elena for her physical and Madoka for a supervisor. However when it comes to that hatstall Hikaru, she got cleaning duties!

At least she makes for a cute cleaner...

Madoka giving orders as coolly as a commanding officer.
Elena es todo entusiasmo: "¡A la orden, mi capataz!"

A few hours later, the exhausted girls get to take a break.

Hikaru draws a new design

During some downtime, Hikaru started drawing a design for the post-repair starship - making it pink and frilly! The other girls ask to see it, so she shows them. They then all add in their ideas for changing the design, though the AI says that accessories are meaningless. Regardless, all the girls agree to redesign according to Hikaru’s drawing, even if it does mean more work.

The girls realised it was getting mundane in fixing the spaceship after four hours and it was then Hikaru was actually designing to make the spaceship more "cuter" (kawaii) and with Elena knowing what she wants, the rest of the girls chipped in and even design personal rooms in the spaceship (as we shall see when they launch in the coda).

The AI was unable to compete in Hikaru's thinking but suggested that Hikaru is the mood maker that got everyone more motivated in getting things done.

All four girls contribute ideas for redesigning

The AI soon finds itself able to provide a more accurate analysis of Hikaru; she lifts up those around her. Repairs and redesign progress smoothly, but an enemy appears before they can add the final touch.

Tenjou arrives in her sedan chair
Tenjou shows up, and the first thing she does is start insulting Lala’s wreck. She tells her soldiers to go after it, as well as to grab the Taurus and Leo Star Colour Pens. Lala and the others aren’t about to hand them over, so it’s transformation time.
Star ☆ Twinkle, ready to go

Tenjou may have PreCures outnumbered, but PreCures’ coordination has improved and they soon send the enemy retreating.

Soon, the spaceship was ready but Tenjou and her men arrived to cause trouble. (Seriously, the girls should just move somewhere less conspicuous so that the Knot Raiders are unable to track them) I do realise that if the episode's fight is between the foot soldiers, it is definitely one-sided since they pose little threat to the girls.

Once Tenjou has gone, the girls get back to focusing on their tasks.

Elena and Madoka floating in zero gravity whilst holding hands (OUI, A SOLUNA MOMENT!!)
Un cuarto solar y cómodo para Elena
A neoclassical room for Madoka
After Tenjou retreated, the girls saw the interior of their newly remodelled spaceship. Purunce even presented his latest invention which is donuts making machine. However it still need work after taking a bite on it.
After the starship is complete, the four girls, as well as Fuwa and Purunce, all board it. Of course Lala's countdown launches without any complications, and thus Elena and Madoka get to experience being in space (and not only zero gravity, which happens to become the springboard for something more!) for the first time.

The girls prepare to blast off into space and Lala started the countdown and sure enough, they are in space and enjoying the moment. Suddenly Elena's pendant started flashing to the Libra symbol and Fuwa warped the spaceship to the StarScape System!
Elena’s Star Colour Pendant begins to glow – the Libra Star Colour Pen is sending them a signal. We’ll have to wait until next to see whether the girls can track down the next Star Colour Pen, though, as this episode ends with Lala’s crew travelling to the Starscape.
This was a fun episode. It’s also worth noting that no other PreCure team has had a starship, so already Star ☆ Twinkle has something that is notably unique. We will also see PreCures travelling to other planets in search of the Star Colour Pens, and I am totally on board with that.
It certainly means that there are a whole lot of possibilities when it comes to where PreCures will travel to next.
Overall, a great episode where all four girls contributed to one central goal. I feel pretty confident in saying that Star ☆ Twinkle has had a good start.
I felt this episode is more of showing each girl's strengths like Lala is good at fixing things, Elena is in charge of the heavy stuff (Seriously, where does she find all the supply from?) and Madoka who is already the student council president was supervising the work. When it comes to Hikaru, she might not have the talent (Rly? Do we know if she has the talent or not? We'll have to wait to see if she is book-smart, ie has the talent!) or strength like her comrades but she make it up with her positive attitude which got the girls to be more motivated in remodelling the spaceship and quote from Lala "Cuter" (Kawaii) in the sense!

As I said before, the foot soldiers were more of a hindrance to the girls rather than a threat which worried me about the future of the series. Since we have ten more Star Princesses to locate, what happened after that? How will the Knot Raiders going to battle the girls if they only have foot soldiers to throw at them unless a game changer will to be presented to even the odds.

Episode 7: Highlighting the girls’ individual strengths, and they repaired the starship while giving it a complete makeover. That’s it. That’s the episode. However I will say this: I was surprised that drawing in Fuwa’s book didn’t just summon a brand new one, you know the power of imagination~!

MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION:
Still hoping Hikaru is book smart: I mean, Tsubomi was introverted, a model student, and not so athletic, and she was the standard bookish four-eyes (ie mousy/introverted). Mana is the utterly rare case of an Academic Athlete and/or Ace protagonist heroine/pink leader, which I adored, but the haters who call her a MARY SUE outnumber my equals (most surely because mainstream spectators want audience surrogates instead of escapist characters as pink Cures - though recall: audience surrogate does not equal idiotic heroine, book-dumb lazy toddler in a teenage body; most magical girl warrior shows pull out the Usagi expy card, the trope codifier for a pink leader in the genre, instead of researching that there can be extroverted nerds, who can function as mood-makers, as well as mousy-bookish females!) Hikaru here is extroverted and not so athletic (enough to be recruited as a cleaner instead of doing hard labour), and knows a lot about astronomy. So still fingers crossed until we get an exam-focused episode when they return to Earth... IF SHE TURNS OUT TO BE BOOK DUMB, I'LL EAT A WHOLE LEMON!
Tenjou pulls out another strategy: Not only does she have a battlefield sedan chair like Wallenstein's - she's the only cadre so far who can be literally called a general! A catalogue of her field arrangements is textbook Military Tactics and Strategies for Beginners (even though we've seen her pretty few times commanding her mooks).
ELENA SE SALE: EN SERIO. SE HA CORONADO REINA SOLAR. Y LO MEJOR FUE ESE MOMENTO SOLUNA AL AGARRAR A MADOKA EN GRAVEDAD CERO.
The Libra clue in the coda: WE GET OUR FIRST AIR SIGN PEN next week... What powers will it have? (Our guesses gravitate towards gravity manipulation ;) )

IN NEXT EPISODE (8):
We're getting Sirius in our first foray into another star system... and not only do we find the Libra Star Colour Pen, but also some locals, whom (until their official species name is known) will be known as Pomeroynians...

Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones,
now they are the food of the dogs...

Is this some kind of dog-god (palindrome that had to be in there)! Like a fluffy Anubis?

At the end of the episode, the girls are now back in the StarScape System and Elena's pendant is hinting the Libra Princess location! As seen in the preview, they landed in a bone-shaped planet (around Sirius) and the Libra Princess Star Pen is being worshipped by the fluff-furry natives! Until then, see you in the next post!
