Episode 27
My Own Review

Free and Passionate

I FEEL LIKE I WIN WHEN I LOSE!!
Starring Aoi F-ing Tategami
Feat. Elysio - Misaki

My, my...
At Waterloo Napoleon did surrender,
oh yeah!
And I have met my destiny in quite a similar way;
the history book on the shelf

is always repeating itself...

Waterloo,

I was defeated, you won the war...

Waterloo,

promised to reach for you evermore...

Waterloo,

couldn't escape if I wanted to...

Waterloo,

knowing my fate is confronting you...
Oh oh oh oh...

Waterloo,

finally facing my Waterloo...

Du riechst so gut...
--ich steig dir nach--
...du riechst so gut...

Du riechst so gut...
--ich steig dir nach--
...du riechst so gut...
Jetzt hab ich dich!

Meine Sachen will ich pflegen,
den Rest in Schutt und Asche legen...
Zerreißen!

Zerschmeißen!
Zerdrücken!

Zerpflücken!

Ich geh am Gartenzaun entlang,
wieder spür ich diesen Drang...
ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!
Doch es darf nicht mir gehören
ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!
Doch es darf nicht mir gehören

Nein...

Ich nehme eure Siebensachen,
werde sie zunichte machen...
Zersägen!

Zerlegen!
Nicht fragen!

Zerschlagen!
Verletzen!
Zerfetzen!
Zersetzen!

ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!
Doch es darf nicht mir gehören

ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!

Doch es darf nicht mir gehören

Nein...

Ich würde gern etwas zerstören;
doch es darf nicht mir gehören...
Ich will ein gutes Mädchen sein,
doch das Verlangen holt mich ein...

ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!
Doch es darf nicht mir gehören
ICH MUSS ZERSTÖREN!!
Doch es darf nicht mir gehören

Nein...

By now, Aoi is hell-bent on leaving nothing left, not even the ruins, of the Ganache stage.

Zerreißen!
Zerschmeißen!
Zerdrücken!

Zerpflücken!
Zerhauen!

Und klauen!
Nicht fragen!

Zerschlagen!
Zerfetzen!

Verletzen!
Zerbrennen!

Dann rennen!
Zersägen!

Zerlegen!
Zerbrechen!

Sich rächen!!
Kyah...!
Kyah...!
Kyah...!

The torso is a Liège waffle, the limbs are ice lollies... but what on Earth is the head? Some summer rice cake, I think.

AOI: Thank you all. I forgot my love of music...

My, my...
I tried to hold you back but you were stronger...
oh yeah!
And now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight...
And how could I ever refuse?
I feel like I win when I lose!!!

Waterloo,
I was defeated, you won the war...
Waterloo,

promised to reach for you evermore...
Waterloo,

couldn't escape if I wanted to...
Waterloo,

knowing my fate is confronting you...
Oh oh oh oh...
Waterloo,

finally facing my Waterloo...

AFTERWORD: MCGUFFIN

ELDER: I know not what it is...
There's a word for that. And the word is McGuffin, also spelled MacGuffin.

MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION:
August is time for music festivals, right in the cool nights when the sun finally gives a truce. From the Rototom taking place right now and right here in Benicàssim to Sziget in Hungary...
So this had to be another musical episode review... with a seductive homme fatal song for Elysio and all! (After all, in most musicals the villain song is always the best...) IN THE DARK OF THE NIGHT, EVIL WILL FIND HER... No, we got Rammstein instead, and it's really ominous.
So she finds out that she is still an amateur, only known within her province (prefecture), compared to her household goddess the nation-level celeb. Then poor Aoi mishears her nakamatachi's comments about winegums being too hard and sour as referring to Aoi herself... it's the last straw. She runs off into the night and comes across Elysio (a far more redoubtable Iago figure than Giulio), who... the premise has basically written itself.
The plot with Aoi getting lured to the dark side, even drunk on the dark side (so much as if to destroy the stage in a fit of rage... I know myself how destructive anger is when it clouds the mind), and returning back again to the light is perfect for a great musical review. And even more given Aoi's rendition of Waterloo and The Winner Takes it All (for what is summer in my other home country without ABBA?)... After all, this is Aoi F-ing Tategami having an identity crisis and snapping out of it!! And then reconciling with her role model, finally daring to reach that pedestal and giving it at least a fingertip prod... This is the best among Aoi-centric episodes so far, putting our blue ice hotblood in her right element and developing the scenario to extreme lengths (Gods, it seemed even that Elysio was making advances on her, even assaulting her...! the sissy villain and the outrageous rockstar... what if I make Elysio, instead of Cobraj, the mastermind in the robber band in my Snow Queen AU Shades of Dawning? Let's see how the corrupted Yukari episode plays out, maybe...)

IN NEXT EPISODE:

Once more, our beetroot gets the limelight and is surely flustered...
She meets a queer old blighter who experiments has mustered...

The real-life physicist whom she has always so admired...
Let's see if this experience helps to heat her blood and light her fire!
