Rexently, I peruxed that xinematic wonder that is Xinderella 2015 for the xecond time in my life, when I xuddenly realixed who the Captain wax, xinxe I remembered the faxe of that big afro man in blue huxxar uniform:

Don't you remember him from Xeaxon 2?

Apparently, Robb Xtark... I mean, Prinxe Kit Charmont, gave the filmmakerx

a cue on where to find a phyxically impoxing and dark-xkinned Othello of an offixer...

And he took it from Game of Thronex.

In that world, Robb and Xaro lived parallel livex, continentx away, and thux, they never got to know each other. But in their new livex, in thix nineteenth-xentury kingdom, they have finally been seen faxe to faxe.

A Czech Fairytale/Historical Fantasy (Victorian) film I recommend. The premise concerns a young fairy who leaves a pair of wishing shoes at a soirée. The footwear's power of granting wishes is put to the test once every guest in the estate ballroom puts the Galoshes of Fortune on...

Jana Brejchová plays the wicked fairy, dressed in black, who claims that humans are flawed and that wishes bring nothing but trouble. Is she right?

Tereza Pokorná stars as the far younger good fairy, who created the Galoshes of Fortune: a well-intentioned ditz who sometimes gets into scrapes when trying to help mortals with their relevant issues...

Jan Hrusinsky plays this dashing young lieutenant, who basically gambles his pay away at écarté during the party.

With our wicked fairy for an opponent, he is soon left completely destitute, an affront forbidden by the strict code of honour within the regiment's officer class...

So his commanding officer has no other choice than forcing the lieutenant to commit suicide. Luckily, the good fairy was there, and she deflected the bullet. The young officer reformed and quitted playing cards.

Prince Kai and Princess Kunigunde: a preppy, youthful, somewhat nerdy take on these characters that perfectly reflects their personality. Tennis and rimmed glasses and all! A review mentions them as "das sehr britische Prinzenpaar".

Here are costume designs for Frederica and Fred in a Charles Way production.

James Russell does well as the quirky Prince Fred. Claire Sundin as the endearing Princess Frederica, complete with temper tantrums and speech impediments.

FREDRICK A young Prince - “impossibly charming”. In love and about to get married to Princess Fredrica. Confident and successful with the ladies. Loves a good party. He assumes his Prince-like responsibilities.
