VERSIONS OF THE NORROWAY TALE
The false bride tale of the Duke of Norroway: a tale of love triumphant, of a plucky heroine and a possessive villainess fighting for the life of a wounded warrior.
I am thinking of a fairytale 30YW AU in which Brienne is a Stark, camp follower Catelyn's eldest daughter... Jaime Lannister is a were-bear soldier, enchanted by the daemon Roose Bolton as payment for his soul.
The Baratheons play the role of the donors, Jaime's foster brothers.
Cersei is, of course, the villainess du jour and Jaime's false bride, a Snow Queen-like femme fatale who finds Jaime on the battlefield.
