In the Royal Domain of Neustria (ie the Île de France), a cruel queen reigns alongside her consort and the Sidhe have their main stronghold for control of Western Europe.... little do the Queen and her courtiers know that winter is coming sooner than they imagined and that the catalyst for change will be one of them, a provincial Autumn Sidhe half-Liam half-Varich, a sheltered bastard orphan wylder (young changeling) sent to the capital for seelie courtier training but who will find himself, friends, and a calling on the wrong riverbank... And of especially around a certain street corner café.
This is the story of a motley and their freehold, or mew. And of the brave wylders who sparked change, or at least gave their all to give it a try...
