..., because the Princess was looking for a suitor, looking for a husband. And she wanted someone who would actually be able to talk to her and answer honestly, and, as an individual, and to deal with someone who'd ask her a question, which, same. And a nice guy, with a little backpack, who was very shabby, came and talked to her, and they were wed.
... to the castle, and ... takes ... through the palace, where ... the prince is ....
But fortunately, the Prince and Princess want to lavish ... with ridiculous gifts that will supposedly help ... on ... journey. Unfortunately, all that these ostentatious gifts do is draw the attention of a local band of robbers.

There are some pretty violent robbers, ... (No more mention of the massacre of the redshirt servants!)
