LES MIS/POKÉMON AU

So I thought lately of a Les Mis/Pokémon Alternate Universe. The setting would be Svea, my counterpart culture Pokémon region based upon Sweden, and the cast would be (each Svean gym leader has a very strong Eeveelution on their team as their ace):

LEADS

Éponine Thénardier: the female lead/rival. The firstborn daughter of hostel owners in the starting village, but not keen on inheriting the family business. Partnered with a shiny Eevee (Eevette).

Marius Pontmercy: male lead/rival; a rich boy whose maternal family overprotected him and who would rather go on a Pokémon journey against their wishes to find his dad, the Grass-type gym leader. Partnered with a shiny Eevee (Eevo).

SVEAN GYM LEADERS (Svean Gyms have a Challenge before the battle, like in Paldea or Galar):

Enjolras: Fire-type Gym Leader. Ace: Flareon (Marianne).

Combeferre: Psychic-type Gym Leader. Ace: Espeon (Descartes).

Courfeyrac: Electric-type Gym Leader. Ace: Jolteon (Zeus).

Jehanne Prouvaire (trans girl): Fairy-type Gym Leader. Ace: Sylveon (Morgana).

Lesgle "Bossuet" (black man): Dark-type Gym Leader. Ace: Umbreon (Othello).

Grantaire "R": Water-type Gym Leader. Ace: Vaporeon (Salmacis).

Cosette Louet (youngest Gym Leader): Ice-type Gym Leader. Ace: Glaceon (Pristina).

Jean Valjean (oldest Gym Leader) Grass-type Gym Leader (after the death of Georges Pontmercy). Cosette's guardian. Ace: Leafeon (Daphne).

ELITE 4

Officer Javert: functions like a male Officer Jenny. A stickler for rules and the law.

Nurse Jo-Lee (Joly): like a male Nurse Joy who heals Pokémon in healthcare centres. Quirky and neurotic.

Bahorel: a punk leading a biker gang, uses Fighting-type Pokémon like the rest of the gang. Thug with a heart of gold.

Professor Lind: the remarkably young and cute female professor of Svea who doles out starter Pokémon and wise advice. She has a New Agey peace-and-love attitude.

VILLAIN:

Montparnasse: Leader of a goth gang rivals with Bahorel, and the main villain. Uses mostly Poison-types.

CHAMPION:

Musichetta: a famous pop star and song contest winner, the national celebrity of Svea. Her ace is Meloetta.
