TO CHARLES V AT THE END OF THE SERIES

Well, since tomorrow we will see so many things in the grand finale of Charles V at TVE... from the battles of Lorraine and St. Quentin through the Council of Trent to Charles's retirement at Yuste... the best thing I could do was write him a farewell poem, in his own mother tongue:

y de esta gran serie:

La retraite...

La défaite...

La douleur...

Le malheur...

La trahison...

Sans compassion...

Le soleil enfin se couche...

La souffrance enfin le touche...

Kaïser Charles,

c'est fini,

le grand drame de ta vie...
