THE ANGEL PROJECT

Huggto! Precure - Springtime Cour Finale
My Own Review
THE ANGEL PROJECT

In episode 10 of Hugtto! PreCure, the girls try out being waitresses.

What follows is Saaya and Homare being proficient in their roles as waitresses.
Here, the latter uses her inline skating skills.

It’s up to Ange and Étoile to put a stop to an octopus theender (made from a vendor at a takoyaki stand, who was feeling stressed-out and cross).

Ange and Étoile fight the theender. Whilst they do so, they offer words of encouragement. Whilst they do so, they offer words of encouragement. However, the theender ends up overpowering them, and launching an attack that hurtles straight towards Hana. She tries to run, but ends up tripping.

It is Hugtan that ends up saving everyone. Presumably unleashing all the morrowpower she has built up so far, Hugtan is able to defeat the theender, in very much the same way a PreCure would.

However, as a result, Hugtan ends up falling unconscious.

But it caused Hug-tan to over exert her powers and the girls could only watch as Hug-tan fell into a coma... With Hug-tan fighting for her life...

There was a rather fierce battle, at the end of which Hugtan was exhausted, in episode 10, but fortunately the cliffhanger is solved and Little Miss McGuffin finally awakes.

Hana met the mysterious man again and he started preaching on what the girl (which refers to Hana) who has nothing was able to stand against the darkness. I am suspecting that he is trying to create a possible future on his own terms and the girls are unknowingly pawns to his scheme.

Their opponent proves to be a tough foe, but PreCures remain determined to defeat him.

Throwing the towel never works. Throwing the tower, however...

As she goes to strike, she has a vision of Charalit’s human self. She stops her attack, declaring that that is not the kind of PreCure she wants to be.
Charalit shrinks down to human size, and Cure Yell hugs him. She says that there are times that she gives up as well – but she’ll just hug those feelings and hold them close.

Charalit started loathing himself for being useless. Instead Cure Yell gave a hug to Charalit and the sword became the Melody Sword.

Seemingly responding to their feelings, the Sword of PreCure transforms into something that fits more with the kind of PreCure that each one wants to be. Cure Yell gets the Yell Takt, Cure Ange has the Ange Harp, and Cure Étoile attains the Étoile Flûte.
The PreCures use these new items to unleash their new finishing attack: the PreCure Trinity Concert.

The new Finishing Move, PreCure Trinity Concert.

"This evening, on CharaliTube..."
Somehow Charalit became a youtuber after being purified... At least that's better than working for a dark overlord, isn't it?

MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION:
We could as well have written The Tragedy of Charalit (I've even got the dreamcast; with Meryl F-ing Streep as Papple)! Honestly, such a finale for the springtime cour was completely roller-coaster-esque to ride!
When she saw Charalit’s true form, Hana saw his vulnerable and terrified true self within the ugliness of the beast. She recognized he needed to be saved, and so she cast away the sword, declaring the precure she wants to be is someone who fights to protect the smiles and happiness of others.
Ironically, Charalit’s suffering more or less mirrored Hana’s insecurities, but on a far greater scale. Which is fine, especially since it made her acknowledge her own insecurities, and realize she isn’t the only one who is experiencing such turmoil.
Also, what ever happened to Charalit? Did he turn into a freaking tree?! I am so lost right now.
But poor guy, my god– I take back everything I said about Papple being a lousy villain, when she brings her A-Game, she is freaking scary. She was the one who proposed to used Charalit, who was imprisoned in darkness, and was in absolute distress, and turn him into that thing. Now THAT escalated quickly.
George (the book guy) made a reappearance today, sharing how the “perhaps the story can feel your destiny” and shares the tale, “To save a world whose tomorrow was slipping away… The sword who chose the maiden who bore nothing.”
The maiden who bore nothing is obviously most likely Hana, in who has no particular strengths that gives her an “unique” edge, but continues to fight on with the courage in her heart to overcome the struggle, as she puts herself in harms way for others. We see today how she is able to continue to fight because she wants to protect everyone’s happiness. But instead of wielding the sword as the heroine in the tale would, Hana was forgiving and gentle, saving the ones that needed to be saved the most. Does that mean she is changing the tale? Or is the story in this world different from the one in the book? Regardless, he seems to appear whenever Hana’s is undergoing some sort of “character development”. It is funny how he deliberately lets her bump into the book as well. I wonder if he actually does that on purpose or something. He could have easily took a step back instead of letting her crash into him. He is a mysterious guy indeed… What’s his role? I can’t help but wonder if he is the author of the tale?

 NEXT EPISODES (12-13)
There's a new girl at class, and her name is Lulu Amour (don't worry about the spelling, all Asians muddle the L and R)...
