GO PRINCESS PRECURE: NEW DEBUTS

This week's episode, we've had a few debuts of characters, as well as a fair share of Hope Kingdom and Dysdark revelations...

Close out and Shut up, for a new Dysdark is coming... Lock, stock, and barrel!!


Lock:
The third Dysdark musketeer after Close and Shut, Lock (NOT to be confused with the Enlightened philosopher, or with the one who cut Jaime Lannister's hand off!) is a brat and a hyperactive little devil of a Peter Pan crossed over with Joffrey... I mean, such a brat with such an ego reminds me of Joff more than slightly...

LOCK YOUR DREAM! (What else?)

Madame Shamour:
the Princess Cures' new elegant and courteous cat instructor in the ways of high culture. A meow that makes me go wow. Today, she is teaching the Cures how to serve tea the proper way.

The Princess Cures' cozy and lovely secret base.

First assignment: Operation Afternoon Tea.

Minami being as graceful as usual.

But Kirara's tea-mixing is AWESOME.

This takes the cake (never better said).

We've also seen more of Grand Kanata, the fallen Hope Kingdom, and the usurper currently sitting on the throne. Dyspear is like the Snow Queen, the Night's Queen, and Maleficent: sexy but scary. A villainess at her best.

Plus, we've also found out the goals that the Dysdarks are actually after: a dozen power keys that their leader, for reasons still unknown, wants and/or needs to have within her reach. 

The same power keys, coincidentally, that the fallen land of Hope Kingdom needs to set its people free and defeat the usurper...

A deadly struggle between Cures and Dysdarks ensues. And I will be commenting on every move.

The Hope Kingdom is as beautiful as its rightful heir is dashing.

It remains plunged into eternal night since the invasion.

The three Cures which once saved the Kingdom, and whose 

successors are our heroines.

Once upon a time, the Hope Kingdom was prosperous and fertile.

Then everything changed when the sorceress Dyspear attacked.

All of its residents were locked by the usurper in dark Despair Doors.

Somehow, Crown Prince Kanata managed to escape. He is currently

living in exile in a forest on the outer reaches of his land. 

And he is aware of the Cures' and the Keys' gathering.

The Dysdark invaders now plan to conquer Earth as well.

Their goal: to find the twelve Dress-Up Keys, three of which are the Cures' keys,

(Which means there are nine more! Can there be a thirteenth?)

 for a reason that will sooner or later be explained,

but is surely nothing positive at all.

These items are scattered around Earth and also sought by the Cures

to defeat Dyspear and free the people of Hope Kingdom.

Tension is mounting...

We will follow the series to discover how many Keys the Cures retrieve,

and the struggle between them and the Dysdarks for their possession.

Dyspear on her Art Nouveau throne.

Her attire reminds me of Maleficent, while her crown reminds me

of the Snow Queen.

She has got a keyhole (the villains' leitmotif) 

in the middle of her chest, where her heart should be.

Another mystery... is this keyhole because her heart was taken out?

Before or after she became a usurper?

Does she have a heart of her own? Is it unusual in any way?

This, coupled with her masked face and goal of finding all the Keys

(to insert them into her heart keyhole? We'll see!)

 sounds like the mystery of the series...
