Now when was the last time I posted something 30YW-related?
And the last time I wrote some filk lyrics?

Well, right now I got the bunny for the filk to end all filks. And yes, it's 30YW-related.
And it's a theatrical text, so there are parts of different characters, taken from a theatrical musical in which there is an early modern field battle scene with the subtitle The World Turned Upside-Down and many badass male parts, as well as equally badass rap rhythms and lyrics. All of these factors about the scene/musical number made me think... Lützen filk, anyone? ET VOILÀ!!!

So enjoy my first filk of the year 2017...

COUNT PAPPENHEIM (en route for the front):
We're starting for Lützen...
VON WALLENSTEIN (on the front):

And just like that, it's over. We tend to our wounded, we count our dead...
Lutherans and Calvinists wonder alike if this means freedom...
STÂLHANDSKE:

We negotiate the terms of surrender,
I see old Stâlhandske smile...
IMPERIAL ENSIGN:
We escort our men out of Lützen,
they stagger home single file...

Tens of thousands of people flood the streets,
there are screams and church bells ringing,
and, as our fallen foes retreat,
