HERE'S THAT DICKENS/LES MIS CROSSOVER PLOT BUNNY

MME. DEFARGE appears in my fictions about... no spoilers, but ok, grosso modo, the Enjolras household, before only son and heir René (THAT Enjolras, from Les Mis) was orphaned during the course of the story. Add the Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, the Battle of Leipzig in 1813, Mme. Defarge's middle daughter, La Marseillaise... The whole arc containing the Defarges (whose middle daughter and POV character Égalité marries one Sergeant Thénardier and changes surname)... against the Defarges are Enjolras senior and his fiancée, parted because of the Revolution and then the Napoleonic Wars, and then spend enough time together to have an only child (René Enjolras) and die (she of some fevers, he on the battlefield), entrusting the prospective revolutionary leader to a host of estate retainers...
