COUNTDOWN TO LÜTZEN III: MACARONS AND OTHER PASTRIES

I made some chocolate macarons a couple of days ago.
Now, there are only three left, and soon there will be none.
For the 6th (how are you feeling?), I will make some typically Swedish Gustavus Adolphus Cakes.
They're sponge cakes, decorated with red fruit jam (for the blood) and whipped cream (for the fog).
The tradition of making these cakes is over a century old.
