THREE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO CLOCKS

During the Cold War, three cuckoo clocks were showcased at the Leipzig Trade Fair:
The East German clock showed, at every hour o'clock, a cuckoo with lederhosen that went "Cuckoo!"
The Russian clock showed a mustachioed cuckoo that went "Lenin!" at every hour o'clock.
But the most popular of all three was the one from that South-east Asian dictatorship: instead of a bird, it starred a bearded Vladimir Lenin figurine that went: "Cuckoo!"
